Hello people, today I'm going to talk about one of the most popular festival of Mexico: International Balloon Festival . The festival takes place from November 16 to 19 in the Metropolitan Park of the city Leon Guanajuato, Mexico.Is the most important balloon festival of Latino-america and the third of America. The cost of the tickets are around 7 dollars but if you want to stay all three days, you can camp and the cost of it is $20.00 $60.00.
This festival get more than 400,000 visitors, who enjoy more than 200 balloons. In 2001 they started to make this festival until today. In the festival has many activities like concerts, contest, presentations and a gastronomic place that you can try some of the traditional food of Guanajuato with your family. Some participants are from different countries like Spain, U.S, Belgium, Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecuador, Canada.
Balloons aerostatic formed by nylon or polyester and polyurethane thermal insulation cover are driven by a mass of air, which contain, when heated with burners by burning propane gas and reach a temperature of 80 to 100 degrees makes it lighter , based on the principle of Archimedes fluids and taking advantage of the air currents to move.
